The Vision Series delivers superior Full-HD image quality and a 200-meter communication range, surpassing traditional analog, and other nuclear imaging solutions. Built around rad-hard CMOS technology, this series is the world's first complete CMOS chipset for camera’s specifically designed for challenging nuclear environments. These chipsets are capable of enduring up to 1 MGy TID without requiring shielding. They enable lightweight, compact camera designs which further enhances their versatility, which is key to gaining operational efficiencies and reducing cost.
The MAG-IMG001X1 Full HD CMOS image sensor ensures consistent, high-quality color or grayscale images. The MAG-CXP00002 serializer efficiently converts parallel video into high-speed digital signals through a standard 75-Ohm coaxial cable, which also supports camera configuration. Furthermore, the Vision series seamlessly integrates with the Motion series to enable advanced rad-hard camera features such as lighting, pan & tilt control, and motorized lenses.
Optimized for demanding applications including inspection, machine vision, and surveillance, the Vision Series represents a significant advancement in nuclear imaging technology. To facilitate customer exploration of this cutting-edge solution, we offer the MAG-CAM1000X evaluation kit.
The MAG-IMG001X1-NC CMOS image sensor delivers superior image quality compared to traditional analog and current nuclear cameras. Featuring a 1920x1080 pixel array (full HD) and available in both monochrome (MAG-IMG00141-NC) and color (MAG-IMG00151-NC) options, the sensor provides exceptional clarity and resolution.
It employs a rolling shutter readout, outputs raw image data through a parallel CMOS interface (3.3V), and offers 10 or 12-bit resolution. With multiple capture modes—trigger, burst, and continuous video—the MAG-IMG001X1-NC offers a flexible, high-quality imaging solution. It integrates all control and digitization functions on-chip, requiring only external supply voltages and a 20 MHz reference clock. Settings are adjustable through a SPI interface that runs up to 20 MHz.
Thanks to its radiation-hardened design, this imager is ideal for use in rad-hard cameras, providing unparalleled image quality without the need for shielding.
